zlib binary packagesYou can download a zlib devel package for Windows from the GnuWin32 project's download page. The Written Word provides zlib binaries for a large number of unix platforms at ftp://ftp.thewrittenword.com/packages/by-name/zlib-1.1.4 NotesRPM is a Redhat invention, although many other distributions are using RPMs these days as well.
