       1.0   Overview

             1.1  This file contains the latest information about
                  installing/using the eserver CMOS configuration
                  utility.

       3.0   Installation and Setup Instructions

             The procedure to update the POST/BIOS is as follows:

             3.1  Insert the "POST/BIOS Flash Diskette"
                  into drive A of any system which has DOS installed.
                        

             3.2  Copy the "CMOSUTIL.EXE" executable file onto any 
                  DOS bootable diskette. 

             3.3  Insert the DOS bootable diskette into drive A drive of your
                  eserver server and power on the system.  

       4.0   Saving CMOS configuration to a file

             4.1  Once at the DOS prompt, type 
                  'cmosutil /s cmosfile'
                  where "cmosfile" is the filename of the CMOS file
                  that will be generated with the system's current CMOS
                  settings.
               
       5.0   Restoring CMOS configuration to a file

             5.1  Once at the DOS prompt, type
                  'cmosutil /r cmosfile'
                  where "cmosfile" is the filename of the CMOS file
                  that you wish to restore configuration settings.
       
             NOTE:  It is recommended to backup current CMOS settings 
                    before restoring CMOS settings from a different 
                    file.
