Purpose:

  SBNews downloads and decodes news articles automatically. For further
  info, please see NEWSBOT.HTM or NEWSBOT.DOC.

SBNews is available in two versions:

  1) SBNEWSxx.ZIP ... 16-bit version, Windows 3.1, W4WG, etc
  2) SBN32_xx.ZIP ... 32-bit version, Windows-95, Windows-NT
  3) SBN32Zxx.ZIP ... 32-bit version without setup program

Installation:

  Run the program SETUP.EXE. This is a standard InstallShield setup program
  and is a very common and user-friendly means of installing Windows
  software. It should be self-intuitive, and should setup everything for
  you. 

  I will also make a version without a setup program available under the file
  name convention "SBN32Zxx.ZIP" (xx being the version number). You can use
  the version without the setup program if you'd like to copy and install the
  files manually. 

Documentation is included in two formats:

  1) HTML format: NEWSBOT.HTM, REGISTER.HTM, etc

     HTML format (HyperText Markup Language) files may be loaded by your
     web browser, or various html utilities. The file is formatted much
     nicer in HTML than in the plain ascii format below.

  2) Ascii format: NEWSBOT.DOC, REGISTER.DOC, etc

     A conversion of the HTML format files to plain ascii. If you don't
     have a program that understands html, you can use these files.
