Janet Perry Novell, Inc. is the leading supplier of local area netwoking software, we are also the world's leading supplier of TCP/IP software with our LAN WorkPlace products. As a company we are actively involved in IETF and have submitted our protocols to the RFC process. Throught my department, Education Sales & Prwe are a founding organizational member of the Internet Society. We have also sponsored INET conferences for the last four years. Our department is also a major corporate sponsor of thew workshops for developing countries. Personally, I am Novell's representative to the Advisory Council and am active on their listserver and in meetings. I served on the Conference Council for INET'94 and have been on the committee for the workshops since 1992. I work hard to find ways to use the resources of my company to support the mission & work of the Internet Society. In my position at Novell, I am a Sysop for Novell's popular listserver. My title, Manager of Technology Transfer Partners, describes my function of working with the most technically advanced colleges & universities to provide an on-going "conversation" to improve both the campuses use of networking, applications, and operating systems, and on Novell's develop- ment of products that work in these environments. I am also Novell's corporate representative to EDUCOM and CAUSE and adminstrate a listserver which is one of our main methods of contacting our major education customers.
