Array::Virtual - provides disk based arrays via tied hashes Copyright (c) 2001 - 2002 Phil Crow . All rights reserved. This program is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the same terms as Perl itself. DESCRIPTION This module allows the caller to tie an array which will then be stored on the disk. This allows the same data to be used each time a program runs without having to manually restore the data. Note that references are not allowed, because they will not reincarnate correctly between program invocations. The rules are similar to hash keys. INSTALLATION perl Makefile.PL make make test make install REVISION HISTORY 0.01 Summer 2001 - Initial release. 0.02 August 2001 - Corrected an offset error in EXISTS function 0.03 Sept. 2001 - Converted to SDBM which is more widely available Elminated dependence on NDBM file naming conventions 0.04 April 2002 - Corrected problems with indices outside the current range Added support for negative indices
